People reach this site in difficult circumstances, sometimes on an old phone and sometimes at two in the morning. It should work for everyone.

The standard we build to

We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

What that means here

• Every text and background pairing on this site is tested to meet AA contrast. We adjusted our own brand colours to get there rather than the other way round
• The site works end to end with a keyboard, and focus is always visible
• Headings run in order, images carry alternative text, and form fields have real labels
• Animation is removed entirely for anyone whose system requests reduced motion
• Tap targets meet the minimum size on phones
• Text can be resized without breaking the layout

Where we know we fall short

This site is under active construction and some sections still use placeholder artwork. If you find something that doesn't work with your assistive technology, we want to hear about it. That's a bug, not a preference.
